A number of KWE's trucks in China are equipped with our GPS-based Transportation Management Systems (TMS) giving our customers real-time visibility to their cargo while in transit.
The transportation information collected through TMS is transmitted directly to our Shanghai call center and is available to the clients by phone or via the internet. |

 KWE has investigated the possibility of equipping all our cargo vehicles in China with the global positioning system, in order to offer real-time cargo status information to clients. To date, over one third of KWE's (owned or leased) trucks are equipped with GPS functions.

To help our customers effectively meet the challenges associated with tracking inland cargo movements throughout China, KWE established the Shanghai Call Center. Real-time trucking cargo status information, transmitted from twenty-four of KWE's major business sites in China, is available, through a toll-free phone call to KWE's Shanghai Call Center from 08:00 to 20:00, or over the internet. It is otherwise hard to keep track of inland cargo movements in China. |
