KWE(UK) Acquires AEO Certification2010/12/27
KWE announces that Kintetsu World Express (U.K.) Ltd. (President: Thomas Weppelmann, after “KWE(UK)”), a locally registered company within the KWE group, on December 22, 2010 acquired EU *AEO standards certification.
This certification, commonly referred to as AEO-F, ensures that KWE(UK) receives preferential treatment in customs clearance procedures as well as security and safety controls. Following on from KWE(Germany), that acquired this certification last year, KWE(UK) is the second company within the KWE group to acquire this certification.
KWE(UK) has acquired this certification as a part of its efforts to provide the highest possible quality services to meet its customer needs.
*This certification allows freight forwarders that have met the required standards to receive preferential treatment which simplifies and accelerates customs clearance procedures.
