Announcement Concerning the Acquisition of Shares in SANYO Electric Logistics Co., Ltd. 2008/09/16
Pursuant to a resolution of our Board of Directors, at a meeting held on September 12, 2008, by written agreement bearing that date entered into between Kintetsu World Express, Inc. and SANYO Electric Logistics Co., Ltd. Kintetsu World Express, Inc. acquired 1,770,200 of SANYO Electric Logistics Co., Ltd.'s shares (17.19% of total shareholder voting rights).
This announcement is made as this acquisition is an act of accumulation as defined under Article 167 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law and Article 31 of the Enforcement Regulations enacted under that law.
