KWE expands its "Shanghai TWELVE Express" and "Shanghai TWENTY-FOUR Express" Services for Express Delivery of Cargo from Japan to Shanghai by Adding Central Japan International Airport to Narita and Kansai Airports2008/08/05
The "Shanghai TWELVE Express" ("Shanghai 12") and the "Shanghai TWENTY-FOUR Express" ("Shanghai 24") services, being KWE's express delivery services from Japan to Shanghai, commenced operations from Narita and Kansai Airports last year. KWE is pleased to announce that Central Japan International Airport as a shipping terminal has now been added to this service network.
Since starting last year, these services through their ability to provide delivery from a shipper in Japan to a consignee in Shanghai within 12 or 24 hours have been extremely well received by KWE's customers.
While the flight time from these three airports to Shanghai is only approximately 3 hours, due to customs clearance procedures and similar at both the departure and arrival airports, prior to the introduction of these services ordinarily 2 - 3 days was required for final delivery to the consignee. Shanghai 12 and Shanghai 24, through providing late night shipping on the Japanese side and early morning arrival in Shanghai, have achieved great reductions in transport times.
Shanghai 12 and Shanghai 24 services are controlled entirely by KWE's staff in every stage from building up ULD's at the departure airport through to break down ULD's upon arrival in Shanghai. This ensures that these services are of the highest quality and that the utmost care is taken in the handling of customer's cargo from delivery to arrival.
By adding Central Japan International Airport to Narita and Kansai Airports, the Shanghai 12 and Shanghai 24 services are now able to provide an expanded service network that encompasses Japan's three major airports to serve the needs of its customers in the Tokai, Shinetsu and Hokuriku regions who to date have had difficulty in shipping products from Narita and Kansai Airports.
In the future to meet its customers' needs, KWE will continue to expand its current services such as Shanghai 12 and Shanghai 24, and in addition will add new services in order to strengthen and expand sales.
