KWE (U.K.) Exhibits at the Farnborough-Air Show2008/07/28

Kintetsu World Express (U.K.) Ltd. ("KWE (U.K.)"), to increase recognition of its aerospace industry related cargo handling operations, recently exhibited at the Farnborough-Air Show, which was held from July 14 to 20, 2008 in this town located in the south of England.

Within Europe, the Farnborough-Air Show, being in terms of scale second only to the Paris-Air Show, is a focal event for companies involved in the aircraft business and attracts corporations from all over the world involved in both the civilian and military aircraft industries.

From within the KWE group of companies, KWE (U.K.) is particularly noted for the large amount of aerospace industry related cargo that it handles, serving a wide range of customers including both Japanese and overseas airline carriers as well as aircraft engine makers. In addition to the above, KWE (U.K.), to satisfy its customers' needs, also offers a comprehensive range of other services including transport of mass produced parts from Japan and the distribution of engines and maintenance related parts.

To further strengthen its aerospace industry related sales, from April this year KWE (U.K.) has employed sales staff specializing in the transport of aerospace related cargo. In addition in June this year KWE (U.K.) became the first Japanese-based company to be certified by SBAC (Society of British Aerospace Companies) as an "Aerospace Logistics Provider". As a result of that accreditation, KWE (U.K.) has been able to commence fully-fledged sales activities targeting the European aerospace industry that includes companies other than just those with Japanese-based distribution frameworks.

KWE, within its PhaseⅢ Medium Term Management Plan, has set forth as a central tenet "Expansion and Diversification of the Range of Items Handled". A core part of this strategy is an expansion of the amount of aerospace industry related freight handled. This was a driving force behind KWE's desire to participate in this exhibition. KWE actively continues its efforts to increase sales in the field of aerospace related freight forwarding and distribution.
