At around 14:30 pm on May 12 a big earthquake occured in Chengdu, Sichuan province, China.
As of 11:30 am on May 15

1)	CTU airport is open. Many outbound flights were cancelled or delayed. All the airlines announced that they will not accept any cargo at this moment. Terminal resumed work as well, but still the operation for rescuer material takes the priority. CTU terminal system is recovered, but very slow, so still a big delay for inbound shipment operation.
2)	Airport customs is on normal work, but as the terminal is partly damaged, terminal customs is transferred to the airport Customs building. Airport system and terminal system are back to normal, so the declaration process is recovered as well. But as there are quite many cargoes detained in the past 3 days, both terminal and airport customs are now taking time to clarify the data in the system and the operation speed is extremely slow for the time being.
3)	EPZ customs is back to normal. Same as airport, the system in EPZ is very slow right now to clarify the data of the cargo in past 3 days.

2. Railway:
The scheduling instruction of railway ministry has been ordered: Stop all the freight trains and containers toward Chengdu. The special railway line is used to carry the succor materials. The east station of Chengdu is not collapsed. All general commercial goods for Chengdu is stopped in the stations of countrywide. The cargo on road (start delivery before May 12) will still be delivered to Chengdu, but the routine and time will be controlled by railway ministry.
3. Highway

1)	The highways from Shanghai to Wuhan and from Wuhan to Yichang are as usual and the Ro-Ro ships from Yichang to Chongqing are as usual but congest serious. The highways from Chongqing to Chengdu (Chengyu Express is as normal but crowded) and other national highways from Chongqing to Chengdu is closed to traffic due to the mountain landslides and collapse, and the condition is uncertain.
2)	Almost all highways within Sichuan province are back to normal except three national and province highways (about 300kms) centred by Wenchuan are still blocked.
3)	The national and province roads in Gansu and Shanxi province are still under rush repair.

4. Communication:
E-mail, Tel and Fax lines of KWE CTU office are in repair and may take around 1 week to finish. Mobile is available.
5. Weather:
Weather condition is good, it has stopped raining now. But small earthquakes are continuously happening today.
6. Others:
The vast majority of gas stations are opening gradually, but the queue waiting for petroleum filling is very long.
