Acquisition of Environmental ISO 14001 Certification at the Central Japan International Airport Terminal (Centrair)

Kintetsu World Express, Inc. ("KWE". Head office: Ohtemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. President: Hirokazu Tsujimoto. Capital: 7,216 million yen.) is pleased to announce that it has successfully acquired environmental ISO 14001 certification at the Centrair Terminal located in Tokoname city, Aichi.

Scope: International airfreight import and export, domestic cargo handling and logistics services.

ISO14001 is the international standard that promotes environmental management. The certification of our facility at the Centrair Terminal, including the previously certified terminal facilities at Narita Terminal, Tokyo Terminal and No. 4 Baraki Terminal, brings the number of ISO14001 certified terminals within Japan to four. Combined with our previously certified overseas facilities, Malaysia (1), Philippines (2) and Hong Kong (4), KWE has to date acquired ISO 14001 certification for 11 facilities in total.
This certification represents one further step in KWE's ongoing commitment to contribute to the global society through strengthening corporate activities related to environmental preservation and pollution prevention.
