BKWE (China) Opens Offices in Huhhot, Lanzhou and Shijiazhuang To Strengthen Chinese Domestic Transport Services

Beijing Kintetsu World Express Co., Ltd. ("BKWE"), one of the registered Chinese companies in the Kintetsu World Express group (TSE:9375) announces the establishment of offices in Huhhot, (Inner Mongolia), Lanzhou, (Gansu Province) and Shijiazhuang, (Hebei Province) as part of its efforts to strengthen KWE's domestic transport services within China.
Corporations with manufacturing bases in China are striving to increase domestic sales and accordingly the need for a domestic supply chain, including cargo tracing, vehicle dispatch management, warehousing control and information management has been increasing. At present while the use by corporations of multiple logistics and transportation companies according to expertise is predominant, in recent times these corporations have been demanding a "One-Stop Service Provider".
To meet this demand, since August 2006, BKWE has been providing transport services for a major U.S. printer maker to northern China from its manufacturing plant in Shanghai, and in addition also established the "Beijing Railway Cargo Terminal Office" in Beijing Station last December. Following on from that BKWE opened its "Taiyuan Office" in Shanxi province and "Yinchuan Office" in Ningxia. With the establishment of these three new offices, BKWE is now able to provide an even more comprehensive domestic transport service, that in addition to the traditional areas of over-land and air transport, also now includes rail transport.
The three new offices are located in the major capitals of Huhhot in Inner Mongolia, Lanzhou in Gansu Province and Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province that have populations of 1.5 million, 9 million and 3.1 million respectively.
BKWE has established these offices in order to improve vital customer service functions for final point delivery of completed product to these major cities. Each of these offices is mainly engaged in shipping schedule control from the point of manufacture and coordination of product delivery to purchasers.
Coinciding with the planned relocation of the domestic cargo handling warehouse in Beijing in March and Shanghai in May, that will result in warehouse space expansion of 10,000㎡ and 40,000㎡ respectively, establishment of these new regional offices aims to improve service quality and expand the BKWE network.
