Nanjing Branch Bonded Import and Export Airport Warehouse Opens

Beijing Kintetsu World Express Co., Ltd. ("BKWE") a company registered in China that is part of the Kintetsu World Express, Inc. (KWE) group has from 18 September commenced operations of its Nanjing Branch Bonded Import and Export Airport Warehouse at Nanjing Lukou International Airport.
Following on from the relocation of our Ningpo Branch warehouse (17 July) and our bonded warehouse to Shanghai Pudong International Airport (1 August) the Nanjing Branch Bonded Import and Export Airport Warehouse has been newly established in response to the ever increasing volume of imported airfreight. KWE is the second general freight forwarder to establish a bonded warehouse in Nanjing and the first such Japanese company.
Nanjing is in the "Chang Jiang Delta Economic Zone", being located in the western most point of the greater Shanghai district that extends from the coastal regions of Shanghai through to Suzhou and Wuxi. It is expected that Nanjing, having an international airport unlike Suzhou and Wuxi, will enjoy strong future growth as an import and export hub.
In the future KWE is committed to expanding its operations in China to create a fully-fledged network.
